Beit Lessin
Beit Lessin, named after an almost-forgotten Yiddish author, was founded in the early 1980s as a cultural club of Israel‘s Workers Union (the “Histadrut’). Today, Beit Lessin is Israel’s second-largest repertory theater, located in the heart of Tel aviv since mid-2003.
Thousands of contemporary American and European plays have been shown at Bit Lessin over the years, together with original productions. In 1993, the theater finally separated from the Israel’s Worker’s Union and began showing mainly original Israeli material that reflected current political and social issues in Israel.

Hello reader. My name is Charlotte Noris and I am sure that you will definitely enjoy my blog. Do you know why? All because on the pages you will see bright and colorful photos, as well as useful information. My husband and I are freelancers, so we can travel at any time of the year.
For myself, I most often plan tours in advance, but it also happens that the trip turns out to be spontaneous when I see an interesting place and a nice price. At the age of 35, I have visited more than 30 countries and do not plan to stop there. I want to visit all continents and the most secret corners of our planet.
A theatre company of note
On the site of the original Cameri Theatre in the Kikar Dizengoff section of town amidst classic Bauhaus buildings, Beit Lessin is devoted to a wide ranging repertoire of contemporary plays and translations of foreign hits. (There are no English-language performance or subtitles offered, however.)
