Haifa

Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel, is situated on the slopes of Mount Carmel and is the third-largest city in Israel. Haifa is known for it’s cultural diversity with Jewish people and Arabs living happily side-by-side
Haifa is located on the Mediterranean coastal plain and is home to a major seaport that is the leader in passenger traffic. The University of Haifa and the Technion, two very prestigious academic institutions, are located in Haifa and the city has much effect on the Israeli economy. There are also high-tech parks, an industrial port and a petroleum refinery in Haifa.
Among visitor attractions in Haifa are the numerous modern shopping malls throughout the city, the breath-taking Bahai Gardens, the numerous historic sites and museums, golden beaches, countless restaurants and cafés with diverse cuisines, the beautiful sculpture garden, botanical gardens, a zoo and of course the stunning views!
