After years of searching for the perfect cut of meat, the owners of Doris Butchers found that it was in their own backyard, in the hills of the Golan heights.
Doris Butchers was established in 2004 in Rosh pina after the owners decided that the market for meat restaurants was very poor and wished to change that. In 2006 an additional branch was opened in Tel aviv and in 2010 an additional branch was opened in Zichron Ya'akov.
Doris Butchers offers fresh, high-quality meat that has passed a long, complicated process, starting from choosing calves in the pasture up until professional treatment of the cuts of meat. The restaurant includes a butchers shop and restaurant-bar. The restaurant is the first of its kind in Israel and since opening it has been written about time after time in leading newspapers in Israel.

We were there to celebrate our birthdays yesterday and it was as good as ever. The meat is all local and very fresh and tasty. Meals are served with French fries (called chips in Israel) and a delicious salad. The restaurant his an outside option that allows you to dine overlooking the Ramat Hanadiv forest. Before or after eating, you can stroll through the beautiful gardens that are adjacent to the restaurant. Highly recommended!
