Outside of Jerusalem

The City of Jerusalem is in itself a superb destination for tourists with enough to do for a good number of days. Whether Museums are your kind of thing, history fascinates you, archaeology excites you, different neighborhoods and cultures is the way you like to explore cities, religious sites of all three major religions, child-friendly activities or working your way through the city’s varied eateries, Jerusalem has something for everyone.

When you feel you’ve well and truly seen Jerusalem, there are many attractions in the surrounding area, with no need to travel too far in order to enjoy oneself outside of the capital city. The stunning Bet Guvrin-Maresha National Park with it’s incredibly complex subterranean networks that are waiting to be explored is a fine example of an attraction in the environs of Jerusalem. Another example is Genesis Land that brings the Bible alive for visitors through a variety of creative activities and workshops.
